There are a lot of different things you can connect to this projector, and on top of everything I just mentioned, you can also cast your phone on this projector. Let's move over to the first look and unboxing portion of this video.
Overall, the packaging presentation is really stylish and simple with the Emotn C1. There are a few specifications and details as well. At the front of the box, there's the company's branding with a picture of the projector itself. It's 50,000 hours for the LED light. It has screen mirroring. It has a Bluetooth speaker. You can present or show off 16.7 million different colors with this projector. It even comes with a built-in phone stand, so there are a lot of features. We're obviously all going to take a look at that once we test it out. Let's proceed with the unboxing.
Upon opening the box of the Emotn C1, we are instantly greeted with the contents that are inside this box. We have our usual manual. I definitely recommend for you guys to go through this user manual. We also have our remote control on the side. We also have a power cable, and this is an AC/DC cable. This will supply power to the projector. I also see an A/V cable. The HDMI cable that came with the package is pretty long. All that's left of the box is the projector itself.
There are a lot of colors going on with the Emotn C1 projector. There are a lot of design features. Let's start with the top before we get too carried away with this projector. At the top, we have our phone/tablet stand. You can put your phone or tablet here. We got buttons for the power on/off, menu, and all these different navigation things in the middle. It's a very interesting design. We have our focus and keystone correction right here that we can adjust and manipulate. Let's take a look at the front part. We have an infrared sensor. We have our lens cover. All you need to do is pop this open, and that exposes the lens of this projector. That's very interesting. On the left side, we have our AC/DC port. The back part is where the very interesting stuff is located. You have VGA. If you still go old school, you got the VGA.
You have two USB ports, so you can connect two USB devices to this Emotn C1 projector. You've got two HDMI ports, so you can connect two HDMI devices with this projector. We have our AV port. We have our AUX port. We have our infrared sensor, and then we have a TF card spot. The possibilities are endless with this projector. You can practically connect any device to this projector. There's nothing on the right side except for the speaker and some vents to allow the heat to escape from this projector. On the bottom, we have a threaded base, so if you wanted to, you can connect this to a tripod. We also have a footnote resting mechanism tripod right here, so if you wanted to, you can give the projector some lift if you don't have a tripod. Let's proceed to the testing and demo part of the video, so we can see how this projector performs.
Before we get started with testing out this Emotn C1 projector, let's take a look at the remote control. With the remote control, you are going to need two AAA batteries to use it. I just inserted batteries inside my remote control, so we're good to go. I'm going to turn this on. There we go. I think this projector is good to go as well.
Let's pop open the lens cover and give it some lift off the ground using the kickstand. Now, let's boot it up, and see if it powers up. Once it's ready, we're going to configure our setup, so that we can test this out on the wall behind me. It's booting up as we speak. I can see the projection on my wall. It's very massive. That is really cool. Surprisingly, so far, it is quiet. It is very quiet. For a projector to be this quiet, I think the Emotn C1 might be the quietest projector I've ever tested out. Let's configure our setup.
We're going to be demonstrating and testing out the Emotn C1 projector. We're now at the main menu of this projector. The Emotn C1 projector has so many functionalities. You can connect all those different media inputs available to you. You also have casting capabilities with Android and Apple devices, and on top of that, you can also connect Bluetooth speakers to this projector, meaning that you don't need to plug an auxiliary cable into this projector to output your audio. The first test that we're going to conduct is just a simple USB flash drive test.
Watch the test from 8:19 to 10:49.
We're going to go into Media and plug a USB flash drive into the USB port. To do that, you need to insert the flash drive upside down. Now that it's inserted, I'll click Media and take a look at some images. I have here some backgrounds that I have on my USB flash drive. It looks like it's doing a slide show right now. Here, you can change the duration of the slideshow. You can change the effects of the slideshow, and also change the speed if you want to. Overall, the picture quality on the Emotn C1 projector is really amazing. It's very clear.
The Emotn C1 is a 1080p native resolution projector, so you're going to get really good quality views through this projector as opposed to other projectors on the market. I can see that these pictures are very clear. Let me click out. This time, we're going to take a look at the Movie. Let's see if it will play the file. This is just a video background that I always use in all my projector tests. I use this to create a baseline, so I can compare and contrast other projectors with newer ones that I review later down the road.
So far, let me just tell you guys, the Emotn C1 projector's quality is so good. I'm not sure if the camera is being able to pick up the clarity of the image quality because of all the compression that YouTube does and all that stuff. You may get some of those hiccups. However, in my view, this looks stunning. It looks amazing. This can be definitely used for movie nights and outings. This is probably, by far, one of the higher-quality projectors that I reviewed. The quality is just stunning, and it really shows with the test that I'm conducting right now.
Yeah, it looks really amazing. This fiery background that I'm looking at right now looks great. If I wanted to use this for some sort of movie scene or some sort of backdrop for a scene or a movie or something like that, I definitely can. If I want to simulate a fake fireplace, I can with this video background. Let's look at another video background. This one is like a view of the galaxy. The quality and the color reproduction on the Emotn C1 projector are simply astounding. It just looks phenomenal. I'm hoping that you guys are seeing the quality that I am talking about because what I'm seeing here is just stunning as I mentioned earlier.
Watch/listen to the test from 11:00 to 11:43.
Let's listen to the audio quality of the Emotn C1 projector. We will also test the Bluetooth capability to see how that performs as well. We're not even maxed volume yet. The sound quality of this projector is pretty decent. I wouldn't say it has an emphasis on the bass or anything, but it keeps a good balance of everything. It's not too loud or too bass-heavy or too punchy, but it's pretty loud. Overall, it's not too bad.
Watch me go through the different settings from 12:10 to 14:20.
Let's look at the settings menu. I usually go through the settings menu before going through all the media files and stuff, but for some reason, I did not do that with this video. We're just going to take a look at that now. In Picture Mode, you can go in to change and customize settings to your liking. We're not going to go through and try to customize all that stuff, though. With Color Temperature, you can go in and change that. The Aspect Ratio may be important for some of you guys. Some of you would prefer the 16:9 because that's the more full-screen experience with the Emotn C1 projector, so keep that in mind.
We also got Noise Reduction. I'm pretty sure you can reduce the noise on the projector through that if you wanted to. We also got Reduce Display Size, so if you wanted to, you can reduce the display size, which is very interesting. Let's take a look at the Sound settings, so with Sound, you got Sound Mode. You can go in here and mess with the treble and the bass. We got Balance, so if you wanted to, you can actually shift the sound of this projector to one side of the speakers. We got Auto Volume, so if you wanted to, you can have it automatically adjust the volume of whatever is being casted. We also have Surround Sound. That is really important, especially if you're watching media off Netflix or similar sources. You may need to check off this setting for those movies to be cast through the Emotn C1 projector.
In Time, there is Sleep Time, and that's pretty self-explanatory. In Settings, we got OSD Language. You can change the language. You can restore the device to its factory default state. You can rotate the screen, so if you had your projector mounted upside down from the ceiling, you can do so with this setting. We have OSD Duration. With that, you can change how long you want this to be on before turning off. We also have Software Updates, so if you wanted to, you can update the software to the latest version. This company will eventually release updates that you can send over to the projector to give the Emotn C1 projector additional functionality.
Watch the test from 14:57 to 15:50.
The next thing that we're going to test on the Emotn C1 projector is the HDMI input. Let's connect the HDMI cable that is connected to my laptop to this projector. I'm now on the main page of my YouTube channel. I'm going to the videos list and see if we can quickly demonstrate a video here. I found one. Let's see how good the quality is. The quality sounds really good, though. Wow, I'm impressed with the quality.
Overall, I'm really impressed with the quality of the Emotn C1 projector. This might be one of the better-quality projectors I reviewed recently. The 1080p really stands out, as opposed to the 720p projector counterparts that I've recently reviewed, so if you're looking for a really high-quality projector that's within budget, but can support 1080p quality, definitely take a look at this projector. I'm really impressed.
Watch the test from 16:53 to 17:43.
The last thing that we're going to be taking a look at with the Emotn C1 projector is the casting capability. For options, you have Android Cast, and you also have Apple Cast. Obviously, if you have an Android device, you use Android Cast. If you have an Apple device, you use Apple Cast. This can allow you to connect your phones and tablets to this projector and even some laptops, I'm pretty sure. Let's do Android Cast. I'm going to connect my phone to this projector. Alright, it looks like it's casting. My phone screen is now casting on the wall. Let's go back to YouTube. This is coming off of my phone right now. So far, it looks like it has low latency. Let's see, once I start talking here, let's see if my voice syncs up with my audio.
Yeah, for the most part, it's pretty synced up. The Emotn C1 projector is better than the projector I recently reviewed. It is slightly delayed, so do keep that in mind. If you're going to be watching movies or videos off of your phone with this projector and especially if you're using that Wi-Fi casting capability, you will get some latency, but it's not that bad, so just keep that in mind. Overall, I would definitely recommend this projector for those who are really trying to make full use of a projector because you have so many things you can connect to it all at once and be able to switch between all those different inputs. So yeah, I definitely recommend this projector. Let's move over to the final opinions and remarks to end this video.
Here are my final opinions and remarks about the Emotn C1 1080p digital projector. Wow, I'm actually blown away. This projector offers so much, and it's just impressive. I mean, it's not even loud. I've reviewed a lot of projectors, and I really wish that I was able to cast the audio via a Bluetooth Speaker or some sort of device on those projectors, but I've never been able to do that. With this projector, you have that option. You're able to cast. You're able to connect all these different devices. You got two HDMI ports, two USB ports, some of these different ports, you have two of them. Then, you have a keystone focus, a phone stand, it's quiet. It's amazing. I'm really impressed. Honestly, I'm not even exaggerating here. I'm really impressed with this projector and the results I got with it.
