Novostella Blaze Smart Multi-Color IP66 Waterproof RGBCW Floodlights | Best LED Spotlights [Review]

Hello, everyone. Welcome back to a brand new Tech Reviews and Gadgets episode. Today, we're reviewing some smart, color-changing, waterproof LED spotlights, and you guys are currently watching CrewElite. In today's episode, we're reviewing some color-changing LED spotlights from the company Novostella. These are the Novostella Blaze LED spotlights.

There are a lot of features that these LED spotlights can bring to the table. You can use Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. They're color-changing meaning that you can choose any color. They're RGB. They also have cool and warm lights, so you can do white light with this LED spotlight. It's also IP66 on the waterproof scale, and there's also a patented antenna, so it can really enhance the signal when you're utilizing these LED spotlights.

Right now, what we're going to do is move over to the first look and unboxing portion of this video.

The overall packaging has a lot of specifications and details on the side of the box. On the front of the box, it just says Novostella, works with Alexa and Google Assistant. These are smart LED floodlights, and we have a four-pack of these LED lights. You can get a one-pack; you can get a two-pack; but in our case, we have a four-pack of these Novostella Blaze LED spotlights. On another side, there are a few specifications and details if you want to take a pause and look at that kind of parameter stuff. And then on the other side, we have some more of those parameters and details if you also want to take a look at that. Let's just proceed with the unboxing of these lights.

We're instantly greeted with an e-manual, and there is a QR code that you can scan to read the contents and understand all the different parameters and specifications that the Novostella Blaze LED spotlights to have to offer. All that's left in the packaging are our four LED floodlights. I really like how they designed the packaging to be able to fit everything in this small, compact box.

This is my first time to see how the Novostella Blaze LED spotlights look like. The cable itself is pretty long. I would say it's maybe about 3 to 4 feet long. On the front of the product, it says Novostella, 25 Watts, IP66. We also have a patented antenna on the top. We also have a little bracket that we can use to mount onto the side of our house, on a fence post, or on a deck. You can easily attach those screws or use screws to screw these in.

We also have this nice little mesh back that should allow the heat to escape and not get too hot. I think this is tempered glass at the front, so it's really well protected. Each one of these is rated 25 Watts, so effectively we have 100 Watts of LED lights. Overall, I'm really impressed with the overall look and appearance that these LED spotlights give off. We're now going to proceed with the testing and demonstration portion of this video.

I have plugged in all the different floodlights into a power extension cable. All I need to do is power it on, and now we have the lights on. I'm not exactly sure why they are red right now, but we're going to get these connected. Right now they're flashing, so they're already indicating and telling me that I need to go over to my phone and connect to these Novostella Blaze LED floodlights.

We will need the Smart Life application, which you can get on either Google Play or on the Apple App Store depending on what device you're using. We're going to open up the application, and if it's your first time to run it, it's going to ask you for your credentials. As for me, it looks like the app already detected the smart floodlight. It's already detected it. I was going to show you guys the pairing process, but it looks like I don't need to go through that hassle. Let me show you guys just the same.

We're going to click "Do not add," and if, for some reason that doesn't show up for you, you have to do it the old-fashioned way, which is to click on the blue plus button at the top right corner. Once you click on that, you're going to go down to "Lightning" and click on "Light Source (Wi-Fi)." Once you click on that, it's going to ask you for your Wi-Fi connection. Make sure you use a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection because this does not support a 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection. Just put in your Wi-Fi credentials and proceed to the next step.

It looks like, in my case, it already found these three devices, so all I have to do is click on "Add All," and it's going to be added to the main menu of the Smart Life application. It's just going to take some time to pair up and connect to my phone. All of the three floodlights are now connected successfully to my phone. You can go and rename the Novostella Blaze LED floodlights, so if you wanted to, like with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, you can rename these so that it can be a lot easier to call out these devices, but we're just going to click on "Done."

We're going to click on one of the lights, and now we're connected to one of them. Before we proceed, I want to pair up, or at least, group all these devices. Let's go in and click on "Create Group," and we're going to select all of these floodlights so that we can control and manipulate them all at the same time. We're going to click on "Save." It's going to ask you to name the group. I'm just going to call it "Group," and then we're going to go back out to the main menu. Now, I should be able to control all three Novostella Blaze LED floodlights at the same time. Let's go in and open up this "Group."

What I'm going to do is turn off all my studio lights, so you guys can get a better view of how these Novostella Blaze LED floodlights to perform. You can go in and change these to whatever color you want. What we're going to do is go in and manipulate the colors of this LED floodlight. Trying on the magenta, it's really bright. You can go all over the color wheels. Now we're going into the indigo, the light blues, light green, yellows, oranges, reds, and yellow-greens.

You can go in and customize these Novostella Blaze LED floodlights to any color that you want. You can really get that very deep blue. You can get that very deep green. You can go in, and just customize these floodlights to do whatever color. It's really nice overall. If I go towards the middle of the color wheel, that's where we're going to get that white light, so now the lights are white, and it's doing a fantastic job overall.

You can also go in and decrease or increase the brightness. Right now we have it at 100% brightness, but if I wanted to, I can go in and decrease the brightness, and now these Novostella Blaze LED floodlights will become non-existent. They're basically off completely. If I wanted to, I can go in and increase the brightness all the way back up to that 100% that we had it at originally.

With the Novostella Blaze LED floodlights, you can also do music synchronization, set up a schedule, or change it to different scenes, but with the application, it looks like it went through an update. I'm not exactly sure. I'm hoping this is something that they will add in the future, but it looks like I can't change three devices at the same time for the scene. I have to go back out and click on one of these floodlights individually to do the scene.

Here are the various scenes available for the Novostella Blaze LED floodlights.

• The night scene is like a yellow light. You can use this to look at stuff in the nighttime, get a good view of whatever's being captured outside.
• We got a reading scene. Reading is a lot brighter and it's a very intense white light. It's doing a fantastic job as well.
• We also got a working scene, and walking is like an orangey kind of light, which is interesting.
• We got leisure and leisure is somewhat violet.
• We also got soft, and soft is like a nice little green. Do keep in mind that with all these scenes, you can go in and customize them to all the different colors that you want. You don't have to use the default that this scene is giving you.
• We also got colorful, and colorful, I believe, is going to start jumping between the different colors. It went from red, and now it's green, and it should go into the blue, and I believe it will repeat the cycle, but I'm not exactly sure. It looks like it's red, green, blue, yellow, and pink, and it's just going to cycle through all those different colors.
• We also got dazzling. Dazzling is similar to it, but a little bit different from the last scene that I tested. and so it's just red, green, and I believe it's only blue and then red, green, and blue. It's just repeating itself red, green, and blue.
• We also got gorgeous, and with gorgeous, I believe, it's going to fade in and fade out between all the various different colors, so it's just cycling through all the different colors in the rainbow spectrum.

As I mentioned earlier, you can go in and customize the Novostella Blaze LED floodlights, so if I wanted to, I can click on the edit button and we can change the scene colors, adding colors in and deleting colors. You can also change the flash mode. If I select that, instead of it fading between all the different colors, it's just going to flash the different colors of the rainbow spectrum. After that, I can easily go back in and reset the scene. It's really nice that they implemented that. You can also change the speed if you wanted to do that as well.

The next thing that we're going to test out is music synchronization. We're going to click on the music synchronization button. There are three different types of music synchronizations that you can do with this floodlight. We got rhythm, game, and romantic. I have a speaker here to test the Novostella Blaze LED floodlights with. I have a song pulled up. We're going to play the song, and what we're going to do is test out rhythm synchronization.

Let me click on rhythm and increase the volume. They did a good job with this. We have an equalizer now. The music syncing is not bad. It's pretty good with the beat. That's not too bad at all, honestly. But now, let me try out the game mode, so I'm going to go to the game. It's doing a fantastic job with the music syncing. I really like the equalizer that they added to the app. If you wanted to, you can use this for parties and events or use that stage lighting. Now, let's test out romantic. It's not bad at all, honestly. If you want to use these for party lights, you can definitely do it with these spotlights.

There is one more thing that I want to show off in this video, and that is the scheduling. If you wanted to, you can set up a schedule with the Novostella Blaze LED floodlights, and I can go in and add a time, pick what day of the week you want it, change the actions, pick the exact time you want it to turn on and off, and yes, if you wanted to, you can customize these LED floodlights to be automatic. You don't have to get up to turn them on or off by yourself. It's really nice that they implemented this scheduled feature.

If you wanted to, you can also do, like, a glitch effect with the Novostella Blaze LED floodlights. You can really give off a really nice effect. Right now, I'm kind of glitching out. It looks really nice. I know I've tried this before, but I just love this effect. It's really nice. I can use this for video recording, parties, and events or whenever I want to kind of give off a nice effect in my videos. I can utilize these LED floodlights to really give off a nice effect with the background. It's really cool with these LED floodlights, and I can go and customize each of them separately or control all of them at the same time. Overall, it's doing a fantastic job.

Overall, I'm really impressed with how the Novostella Blaze LED floodlights performed, and right now we're going to to do is move over to the final opinions and remarks and end off this video.

What are my final opinions and remarks about the Novostella Blaze LED floodlights? They did a fantastic job. There's a lot of capabilities and possibilities with these LED floodlights. You can use it for outdoor lighting, patio lighting, or if you want to use it for Christmas lighting or holiday lighting, you can easily do that. If I wanted to, I can set it up like a 4th of July scene with how I have the lights on right now. There's just a lot of possibilities with these LED floodlights. They do a fantastic job of lighting up everything.

One more thing is that they're very bright. These LED floodlights just did a fantastic job of showing off all the capabilities and features they have to bring to the table. Connecting them was really easy. It didn't take a lot of time. Just getting these LED lights up and running was effortless. It wasn't much of a hassle to get them all ready to go is what I'm trying to say.
