Novostella BLink Smart Color-Changing Waterproof RGBCW Floodlights | Best LED Spotlights [REVIEW]

The box has the text Novostella, 25 Watts, Smart LED Floodlights, 4 Pack printed on the front. On another side, there's a few parameters and details available. And then on the other side, we also have additional information if you're interested in learning more about it. Let's proceed to the unboxing.

Upon opening the box, you're instantly greeted with some styrofoam. The BLink looks really nice.

There is also a patented antenna that they embedded into it. It can really enhance your signal as well.

It also allows the heat to escape.

There are LED lights inside, and it also comes with a bracket so you can hang it up or attach it onto the side of your house.

There's also a power cable to plug it into a power source to supply it with electricity.

The last remaining thing inside the box is the BLink e-manual.

This package comes with four pieces of lights, which will allow you to cover a wide area with the LED spotlights, and they look really nice. The cable themselves are pretty long. I would say they're about three feet long.

I'm not exactly sure what the length of the cables are, but they're pretty long. Depending on your setup, the BLink should be perfectly fine depending on where you decide to set them up. It's now time to proceed with the testing and demonstration.

Right off the bat, I do have to say that they are very bright. In fact, I had to face it away from me while testing. They are bright.

The Smart Light application of the BLink can be used to pair the LED spotlights. You have to create an account the first time you run it.

On the main page of the application, it will list down all the smart-enabled devices that you already added to the app. Of course, at first, during initial loading, it will show no devices at all. To add new devices, you just have to click on the blue plus sign on the top right corner, go into lighting, and then click on Light Source BLE.

To get into Bluetooth pairing mode, you need to reset the power adapter by turning it off and then on again. The lights will start flashing at this point. You can confirm by clicking on the yellow lightbulb on the BLink app.

After that, your devices will be detected and displayed on the app. It found the devices through Bluetooth. It's really quick to find the devices. In my case, it found all three of the floodlights. It's going to take some time to pair them.

Before you use them, you can create a group for the devices so that you can control them at the same time.

Once done, you can execute color changes and stuff like that for all devices at the same time. It's makes the process a lot easier. From there, you can load the app and change the brightness of all the lights at once, increasing or decreasing it as needed.

Since the BLink lights are RGBCW, you can also change the color to all sorts of colors such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, dark blue, magenta, violet, pink, fucshia, rose red, or hot pink. The possibilities are endless. You can also increase or decrease the brightness and saturation of the lights separately.

BLink also has a scene feature such as night scene. With each of the scenes, you can customize them by picking the colors or change it to flash, static, breathe, and more. You can also control the speed.

You can customize them, so if you wanted to, you can change all these colors, change the mode, etc. You can change all that on the BLink. It's really cool that they did all that, implemented that, so you can customize to your heart's content.

BLink also has music mode that sync's the light with sound. If you have music playing, it will sync up to the music.

If you're playing music outside with professional loud speakers and stuff, you can get these LED lights to synchronize with the atmosphere or the music that you're playing. It's really a cool feature. Here's a warning though. The lights can get very bright, so do not look at them directly unless to prevent eye damage.

What is my opinion about the Novostella BLink Smart Bluetooth LED Spotlights? Well, they're doing a fantastic job. They're very vibrant, and you can use them in different ways.

You can use it for studio lighting. You can use it for your patio lighting, holiday lighting, or just lighting up your house to make it stand out. There are just so many different ways. The built-in antennas are capable of getting a strong signal with these spotlights, but make sure that your connection is stable. With that being said, we are going to conclude this review.
