I have been shooting with the Tamron 17-28mm F2.8 wide angle zoom lens for Sony E-Mount cameras for over a year now (video samples) and I can say I am quite impressed with its quality despite its budget priced compared to the Sony G-Master 16-35mm F2.8. This Tamron lens works perfectly with full-frame cameras such as the Sony a7iii, a7c, a7riv, a9, and the up and coming a7siii. It works well on APSC Sony cameras too such as the a6400, a6600. On these cameras the focal lengths becomes 25mm-42mm.
